PSDTuts has created a good tutorial for making a pencil in photoshop. As with all tutorials what you will learn will be based on your experience level but many times I find I can learn at least something.

This is an interesting advertisement in the streets of Australia using 7,563 die for some type of casino. Very creative using the different sides like pixels to render the image.

Great speed painting by Martin Missfeldt. The session took 4 hours to complete in Photoshop CS3. I love how the artist choose to have someone in the scene painting the scene. Very creative.

This is as unique as it gets. A couple was able to purchase a Boeing 727 for $2,000 and with an extra $28,000 was able to build the airplane cabin into a home.

Our reader Durden pointed out a new papercraft site that releases TV series characters cubees.
These come with tabs to attach the sides so there is no need for glue or tape. The templates are meant to be printed on a standard A4 (8.5 x 11) paper. Best of all they are FREE.
So far they have characters from 24, Boston Legal, Alias, Dexter, Heroes, House, Lost, and Prison Break.

General Motors recently commissioned Ian Cook to paint a Camaro convertible live at the London Auto Show with a remote controlled car. Cook is known for his unconventional use of remote control cars as a brush. Cook recognizes that the idea came from a love of cars and the need to be different in order to be successful. The artwork style called “PopBang Color” seems to have a very loose sketch feel due to the wheels driving over the corners. GM has also commissioned him to do another painting soon.

Weburbanist has posted sand sculptures from 10 top artists. Some of these just blow my mind how detailed they are. Where ever there is creativity there will be art.

This again shows where there is creativity there will be art. The above image was created by Jesus Diaz on Gizmodo. This prompted Gizmodo to see what others could build using their desktop folders.
